Thank you for considering my application based screensaver. I wrote this to allow me to have a screensaver when I program without extensions. As mentioned in the program itself, the program is free of charge.
Here are some things to note about the program:
1. You could make an alias of it & put that in the Startup Items folder. Then you could have a screensaver in all occasions.
2. After you run the program and pass the startup "Evangelism Alert™", to start the screensaver, you can move the mouse to the lower left-hand corner.
3. In the preferences menu, you can set the following:
Time Out - this is the time that passes without mouse movement or keyboard activity. The screensaver will go into action after such a time.
Black Screen - this is for regular monitors
White Screen - this is for PowerBook screens
Clock - this is self-explanatory
Password Required - if you check this, the program cannot Quit until you type the password. But it is not very secure as power users can break out of the program using a "feature" of the Mac OS!
Menu bar has the words "In Screen Saver" to remind you that you are in the application. This app works by switching itself to the front.
As it costs $0.00, it does not have many of the features that you find in commercial screensavers. It serves my purpose & I hope it will serve you just as well.
I hope you enjoy using it. More than that, I hope you will come to believe in Christ. If even one person believes because of the message in this program, then my life will not have been in vain.
Bless you.
George "PatMan" Loo
P.S. PatMan stands for "Programmer and Tester Man", which is what I do to put food on the table. It is NOT in rememberance of a misguided girl whom I once loved dearly. I forgive you Pat, for what you did to some of us, and I wish you all the grace of God. You'll need it, considering the company you keep...
